Spine Fracture Stabilization

Spine fractures can be unstable and may lead to partial or complete paralysis if not taken care of.  So although not all but many may need spine fracture stabilization for immediate walking, preventing further paralysis and physiotherapy (rehabilitation). This procedure is done by inserting devices known as spinal implants such as titanium screws and rods into the spine. Instrumentation provides a permanent solution to spinal instability. These procedures are also intended to reverse the partial paralysis.
